Tablets of the Huawei MatePad Pro series undergo 3C certification

Huawei is still fighting for the smartphone business despite all the sanctions against it. Despite the fact that the smartphone business has certain challenges, such as winning over non-Google devices and finding a way to offer 5G, the company's smartphones continue to appear. At the same time, the company also gets good results in other segments, such as the market for tablets and other electronics. Considering the tablet business, Huawei prepares release a new series of Huawei MatePad Pro tablets. Two models with GOT-AL09 and GOT-AL19 have passed 3C certification.

Chinese Compulsory Certification (3C) confirms that these two tablets are equipped with Huawei's new TD-LTE wireless terminal equipment. They also come with a 40W charger, which is good considering it's a tablet. According to the GOT-W09 tablet computer that was previously connected to the network, it can be concluded that the newly connected device is a new tablet computer with LTE 4G network support. Apparently, it belongs to the Huawei MatePad Pro series.

Other tablets with model numbers WGR-W09, WGR-W19, WGRR-W09 and WGRR-W19 have also passed 3C certification. According to sources, this is Huawei MatePad Pro 12.5 2022, it will support 10V 4A 40W fast charging. We expect multiple configurations, and the different model numbers are probably related to that.

These devices will replace last year's Huawei MatePad Pro series. In June 2021, the company introduced the Huawei MatePad Pro 12,6 and MatePad Pro 10,8 inches. These devices run HarmonyOS 2 out of the box and have Kirin 9000 and Snapdragon 870 chips. The Huawei MatePad Pro variant starts with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Some users are asking for a simpler model, perhaps with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, or even 64GB of storage. This configuration may provide a cheaper option. However, we don't know if Huawei will introduce this simpler version.

The release date has not yet been announced. We expect more details to emerge in the coming months. This year, Huawei introduced the MatePad paper, which has an e-ink display.
