The predecessors of the upcoming phone looked identical to both, but the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will most likely adopt a new design. On June 29, GizNext leaked renders of the Z Flip 3, hinting at some notable changes compared to the Z Flip and Z Flip 5G.
The back of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 featured a two-tone design consisting of a black top and a variety of other color options underneath. Samsung will reportedly offer eight attractive color options for the phone, including pink, navy blue, beige, light purple, dark green, gray, white and black.
On the back of the Z Flip 3 is a 1,9-inch display with a cover. This is a significant upgrade considering the Z Flip and Z Flip 5G come with a 1,1-inch panel. In addition, the main display can be 6,7-inch, with a cutout to accommodate the selfie camera.

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is expected to be powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. In the renders, we see a phone with two rear cameras. Samsung may use the same sensors as on the Galaxy S21. In other words, it can house a 12-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Some sources suggest that the Z Flip 3 will be announced in July. Others say it won't be announced until August. With all that said, it looks like the hotly anticipated phone will hit store shelves by the end of the summer.
