Today ASUS introduced its new smartphone called Zenfone 11 Ultra. Zenfone series is a well-known smartphone line and hence we are eagerly waiting for their new phone. The smartphone was officially presented at a virtual presentation. It is completely identical to the previously presented ROG Phone 8 Pro, but with small differences. Zenfone 11 Ultra design
At first glance, the smartphone looks quite simple and modest. It has a square camera module in the upper left corner. At the bottom, the company decided to place the Chinese symbol, which means "people". Otherwise, the smartphone has a concise and simple design. Four color options are available: Skyline Blue, Eternal Black, Misty Gray and Desert Sand.
ASUS claims that their new smartphone is made of 100% recycled aluminum, a the front screen includes environmentally friendly 22% recycled glass.
Specifications
Starting with the display, the Zenfone 11 Ultra gets a 6,78-inch LTPO AMOLED display. It has FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate to ensure smooth images. Other features include peak brightness of 2 nits and Gorilla Glass Victus 500 protection.
On the back, you get three cameras. The main one is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 matrix with a 6-axis hybrid gimbal stabilizer Asus 3.0. The other two are a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. On the front panel there is a 32-MP camera, resting on a perforated cutout.
Coming to the performance, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. As for the battery, the phone greets you with a 5500mAh battery that supports 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Make sure you have a separate adapter as the company ships the phone without one.
Other features include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7 support, a 3,5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers with support for Hi-Res audio and Qualcomm aptX lossless audio.
Price
The Zenfone 11 Ultra starts at €999 (~$1092) for the 12/256GB configuration. There's also a high-end 16/512GB configuration priced at €1 (~$099).
