Since the beginning of the year, there have been rumors about a super flagship from Motorola. Codenamed Motorola Frontier, the device is said to be the first smartphone to hit the market with a 200MP camera, and it will also be one of the first flagships to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. A few months ago, Motorola CEO said which will be the flagship with the company's 125W fast charging system. The device appeared as a rumor, but everything around it came to life. According to sources, it will be called the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra and appears to be 3C certified.
Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, 200MP camera and 125W charging are confirmed
The alleged Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has passed Chinese mandatory certification with the model number XT2241-1. As always, the 3C certification provides detailed information about the charging technology, and from the looks of it, this smartphone will indeed offer up to 125W fast charging. It's not the fastest in the industry today, but it's still blazingly fast and Motorola's highest charging standard. It actually took the Lenovo brand a while to get into the fast-changing trend, but it finally turned things around this year with the Motorola Edge 30 Pro with 68W fast charging.
The Motorola XT2251-1 and XT2243-2 have recently been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. According to a Chinese source, the XT2251-1 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ and will hit the market in July. The XT2243-2 is the successor to the Motorola Edge 20 series, but we're not exactly sure what that means. Motorola itself has already confirmed that it will release a new flagship phone in July. It will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a 200 MP camera. A 200-megapixel camera is one of Samsung's latest releases in the camera segment, but the Galaxy S23 Ultra won't have that camera. So the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra will make its debut with this sensor and will probably be the only phone with it for a while.

Tipster Digital Chat Station has already published some of the specs that come with the Motorola Edge 30 aka Frontier. The device will receive a 6,67-inch Full HD+ OLED screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It has a punch-hole 60MP selfie camera and a triple rear camera setup. There is a main camera of 200 MP, an additional 50 MP and a third module of 12 MP. The phone will have 125W fast wired charging and will also support 50W wireless charging.
