The Redmi Watch 2 Lite smartwatch has been launched in Europe just a few days after the Xiaomi sub-brand announced it. The Chinese tech giant is focused on making its devices available outside of the company's home country. As part of this strategy, Xiaomi has recently launched a new smartwatch and a pair of wireless headphones in many regions. The new Redmi Watch has added to the company's already impressive portfolio of devices.
Redmi Watch 2 Lite launches in Europe
The popular Xiaomi subsidiary will now sell the Redmi Watch 2 Lite smart watch in Europe. The smartwatch will target buyers on a budget. The watch will go on sale in some European markets. Redmi Watch 2 Lite will cost European buyers 69,99 euros.
The price seems a little high considering it's a lightweight version of the Redmi Watch. However, it is worth mentioning here that electronic devices are subject to comparatively higher local taxes in Europe.
Technical characteristics and features
The Watch 2 Lite has a square screen with curved corners. Thick bezels surround the display. However, the bezels are relatively thinner than the previously launched Redmi smartwatch. The watch is equipped with a 1,55-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 360 x 320 pixels. In addition, Watch 2 Lite offers more than 100 sports modes. These include swimming, cycling, running, walking and much more.
In addition, the device supports a wide range of functions focused on health and fitness. For example, it offers blood oxygen level SpO2 and heart rate monitoring. In addition, Watch 2 Lite supports BDS, GLONASS, Galileo and GPS, and the watch is water resistant to 5 atm. It also offers 10 days of battery life without recharging. The watch is powered by a 252 mAh battery. In addition, you can choose between blue, white and black colors.
