More than 70 mobile photography enthusiasts stand a chance to win Huawei gadgets and cash prizes up to $10
Huawei has announced the start of its annual Next Image Awards 2021 photo competition. The theme of this year's competition is "Better Together". Huawei users can already submit photos and videos for a chance to win one of 70 gifts, including cash prizes worth up to $10. The deadline for submitting applications is November 000, 30.
The Huawei Next Image Awards is the world's largest mobile photography competition, with more than 2017 million submissions since its inception in 2. Simple application mechanics and more than 70 prizes attract amateur photographers and visual storytellers from all over the world, who ignite this year's fifth competition with their creativity.
A team of experts from different countries of the world will evaluate the works of the participants. To the Canadian photographer By Reuben Crabbe, which specializes in extreme sports, will be joined by a well-known art critic and art curator from Great Britain Karen Smith and a French radio and television producer Olivier Chabodeau.
Those who know the taste of victory in competitions will also join the judging panel. He is a Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer and founder of the Shanghai Photography Center Liu Hong Shin і Lin Hain, which won the main prize of last year's Next Image Awards 2020 competition. The jury also included a professor from the Institute of Journalism and Communications of Beijing Pedagogical University Yu Guoming and Deputy Director of Huawei Consumer BG Strategic Marketing Department Li Changzhu.

Unlike other photo contests that determine one winner, Huawei encourages participants to experiment with perspective, formats, and lighting. In order for viewers to continue discovering the diversity and beauty of life, the Next Image Awards 2021 competition includes 10 different categories. They reflect Huawei's strengths in mobile photography and encourage Huawei smartphone owners to take full advantage of the innovative features of their devices to tell original, compelling stories through photos and videos. - PORTRAIT
Portraits can tell fascinating human stories better than any words. Whether it's a self-portrait, a portrait of a loved one or a model, send us your best portrait photos.
- MONOCHROME
Black and white images do not distract with colors, helping the viewer to focus on objects, textures, shapes, patterns, compositions. Use a monochrome photo to capture the atmosphere or originality of the shot.
- COLOR
Huawei smartphones are known for their ability to create bright photos full of life. Reveal your essence by expressing yourself with vibrant mobile photography.
- MOMENT
Photography allows you to enjoy the moments of life and encourages you to capture significant moments and emotions. Create a picture that will tell an interesting story or capture an important memory.
- NIGHT
Thanks to powerful artificial intelligence, Huawei smartphones take incredible night photos without using a flash. Get creative under the cover of darkness and create a picture to remember.
- TELEPHOTO
Usually, photos taken on a smartphone using zoom are blurry and of low quality. However, Huawei gadgets take clear images even when using a telephoto lens.

These categories highlight the leading features of Huawei's flagship smartphones — from performance when zooming to taking quality photos in low-light conditions. Each category is tied to a certain shooting scenario, for which the Huawei gadget is known. Users have to capture the desired emotion in time and present their work at the Huawei Next Image Award photo contest.
Capture every moment of life
The Huawei Next Image Award 2021 competition encourages the creation of mobile photography masterpieces. While being inspired and capturing the beauty of life, participants also stand a chance to win prizes, including the innovative Huawei Watch 3 smartwatch and cash prizes of up to $10.

There is also an alternative option for participation, for which you do not need to prepare a photo for a specific category. Upload a photo taken on a Huawei smartphone to Instagram with the hashtag #HuaweiNextImage and tag the page @huaweimobileukraine. The winner of the contest on Instagram will receive a new smartphone, which the company will present in October.
