The international manufacturer of televisions, the KIVI company, presented a new line of televisions in 2021. KIVI TV now becomes not only a device for broadcasting content, but also a media hub with new capabilities "out of the box".
New design
To create a new design, in addition to R&D KIVI, 3 international design bureaus were involved. From more than three hundred proposed options for legs, front frames and back part, the team chose a design that corresponds to the concept of minimalism and thin lines.
The width of the visible part of the frontal frames is about 2,6 mm. Thanks to this, TVs organically flow into the interior, and the user can fully immerse himself in watching his favorite films.
All KIVI TVs use Direct LED screen illumination technology with an optical distance of only 20 millimeters, which will allow you to install them as close as possible to the wall on the bracket.
For those who prefer a TV on a stand, KIVI has developed new, slimmest stands so that the user can fully immerse himself in what is happening on the screen.
Cast stands made of aluminum alloy have passed the necessary reliability tests. The set with the TV has a hexagon, which will allow them to be easily installed independently and without additional tools.
For fans of classics and desktop screens, KIVI presented two 32″ diagonal models with Smart TV function and FHD expansion on central stands.
The updated rear part will ensure not only comfortable connection of any devices and types of cables, but also has a stylish design in case the TV is not installed close to the wall.
This year, KIVI also presented TVs with a diagonal from 24″ to 55″ in an elegant white color.

KIVI uses only class A+ panels in its TVs, and R&D devotes a lot of time to developing the internal part of the display module. All for the sake of increasing the brightness, improving the uniformity of the illumination and the rich color palette of the display.
In addition to the "basic" parameters, modern technologies, the central processor and software help to improve the image.
KIVI TVs support HDR not only for files from the drive, but also when playing content online and when playing on a console or PC. Thanks to HDR, the user will not only be able to see everything exactly as the author intended, but also get a more saturated and contrasting picture.
TVs also support Super Contrast Control technology, which allows you to automatically change the contrast of the image not only of the entire screen, but also of its individual parts. In order for the UltraHD screen to work at its best even when viewing content with a quality lower than 4K, the TV processor is able to refine the sharpness and detail of the image thanks to UltraClear technology.
Sound from JVC
Immersion in the content will not be complete without quality sound. In the 2021 TV line, KIVI has created a sound system that works harmoniously with all its components - from the speakers of its own development, the manual calibration of each of them outside and inside the TV body, the SRC processing process, to the integration of the Dolby Audio Processing (DAP) function. The latter not only allows you to select sound presets for movies, music or podcasts, but also has additional tools such as increasing the volume of the voice or auto-leveling the volume when part of the content sounds louder, such as when switching from a movie to a commercial.
Synchronization of technologies was achieved thanks to a partnership with the Japanese headquarters of the JVC Kenwood company, known worldwide for audio and video equipment.
Google Android TV
In 2021, KIVI strengthened cooperation with Google, which made it possible to significantly increase the stability and speed of the system. The joint work of the R&D departments of KIVI, Google and Mediatek is aimed at optimizing the operation of programs and hardware, as well as at detailed testing before the new release of updates.
Thanks to the Google Android TV OS, certified by Google and Netflix, all Google services created specifically for the TV platform are available to the user. The user will be able to enjoy the speed of the system, the quick launch of the TV and applications, as well as a large number of applications from the Play Market.
Through a dedicated button on the remote control, the user can call Google Assistant by voice to control the TV and "smart" house, find movies by genre, use a translator, find out the weather forecast and the results of sports events, make mathematical calculations, build routes and much more.
KIVI TVs have the Chromecast feature — a quick way to share content from a smartphone or tablet. Chromecast will also help you turn on the TV right away from the content you want with one click to pair.
KIVI MEDIA
Television today is no longer just a device for watching movies, channels and series. A modern trend in smart TVs is the ability to access completely new possibilities.
Along with the 2021 lineup, KIVI introduced the KIVI MEDIA app. Now users of KIVI TVs on the Google Android TV operating system will have access to free content immediately after unpacking the new device and connecting to the Internet.
The application currently has several sections:
- Channels: in section 50 free channels of various genres, including popular Viasat channels (eg TV1000 World Kino). In addition to free channels, KIVI cooperates with MEGOGO, the largest media service in Eastern Europe for watching video, TV and listening to audio, which also provides access to paid channels.
- Movies: also in exclusive collaboration with MEGOGO, KIVI presents a package of free and paid movies that are recommended using jointly developed algorithms. For quick access to MEGOGO content, a separate button on the remote control is dedicated.
- Training: free recorded and online home workouts from popular fitness bloggers.
- Games: in cooperation with the Boosteroid cloud gaming service, KIVI presented the Games section. Today, Boosteroid is one of the top three providers of cloud gaming in Europe. Boosteroid technology allows you to run demanding modern computer games simply on the TV. The game is launched on Boosteroid's powerful servers, and the gameplay is transmitted via the Internet directly to the screen of the user, who controls the game from his device, for example, with a joystick. With a good Internet connection, it is impossible to feel the difference between the game on Boosteroid and on a powerful home computer.
In addition to cloud gaming, free Android games for the whole family are integrated into the section: Air Console, Bomb Squad, Badland. Control is possible using Bluetooth joysticks, a remote control and smartphones, depending on the selected game. You can even play with a whole company. Hundreds of free games are also available in the Play Market application store.
- Benefits: a special loyalty program for KIVI TV users. Special discounts, promotional codes, promotions on the most popular goods and services from leading companies — all in one place, in the Benefits section. The user will be able to easily read the QR code from the TV and make profitable purchases.
The KIVI MEDIA application will be constantly updated taking into account the requests of Ukrainians. In part, the service will be free because KIVI follows a "turn on and watch" strategy, according to which the user receives content immediately.
In addition to the new line, KIVI MEDIA will be automatically installed and/or updated on all KIVI smart TVs on the Google Android TV operating system by the end of 2021.

KIVI, together with the Korean company Remote Solution, has developed a remote control for the release of the 2021 line of smart TVs. The ergonomics of the remote control are built on the basis of research by KIVI and Google. The buttons are located in such a way that they are easy to find by touch and you will always find exactly what you need under your finger. The remote control works with the help of Bluetooth, equipped with a microphone and "quiet" buttons.
The device has an Air Mouse function, that is, a gyroscope is built into the remote control, which reacts to the movement of the hand and imitates the cursor of a computer mouse on the TV screen. The function simplifies input and navigation - using the remote control is as easy as using a mouse.
Service
KIVI traditionally provides a 3-year warranty for the display module.
