The international TV manufacturer, KIVI, along with the new 2021 TV line-up, has introduced the KIVI MEDIA app with free out-of-the-box content.
Television today is no longer just a device for watching movies, channels and series. A modern trend in smart TVs is the ability to access completely new possibilities.
The KIVI company has developed its own unique KIVI MEDIA application, which combines everything needed for family entertainment and opens up new possibilities for TV. Now users of KIVI televisions on the Google Android TV operating system will have access to high-quality free licensed content immediately after unpacking the new device and connecting to the Internet.
Channels
In the "Channels" section in Ukraine, you can find 50 free channels of various genres, including popular Viasat channels (for example, TV1000 World Kino). In the section, a program of programs and a "time machine" function are available, which will allow you to rewind the content of the channel and watch the program when it is convenient.
In addition to free channels, paid channels will be integrated into the section, which are selected and recommended according to the most popular filter: rating, film, children's, sports. KIVI offers paid channels together with its strategic partner MEGOGO — the largest media service in Eastern Europe for watching video, TV and listening to audio.
Movies
The "Movies" section presents content from MEGOGO, the exclusive partner of KIVI in Ukraine.
It is known that one of the problems that a modern user often faces is the problem of choice or search. Movie and channel recommendations in KIVI MEDIA allow you to quickly find the desired movie, cartoon or TV channel. MEGOGO strives to simplify the user's life as much as possible — recommend top new movies, offer editorial selections. And KIVI, in turn, provides quick access to recommendations and a seamless transition directly to viewing within MEGOGO.
The user finds a favorite movie, cartoon or TV channel in the recommendations and immediately goes to the content page in MEGOGO. The new user will be prompted to log in to an existing account or to register once. In the future, the transition from recommendations to review is seamless. If the content is available in a paid form or subscription, nothing changes in the mechanics of payment.
For quick access to MEGOGO content, a separate button on the remote control is dedicated.
KIVI also offers a package of free movies in high quality in the section. The amount of free content will be expanded with each stage of development of KIVI MEDIA.
Training
KIVI presents the "Training" section together with partners: the Online Fitness Club project, the founder of which is Andrii Khomytskyi - professional trainer, two-time world champion in bodybuilding, as well as the Savlova Fit project of Yulia Savlova - fitness trainer, finalist of the World Bodybuilding Championship, nutrition expert .
In the "Training" section, users will be able to regularly attend free live online meetings and work out with a team of professional trainers, watch free recorded workouts and complete paid marathons.
Games
KIVI expands the possibilities for entertainment. If earlier it was possible to play on the big screen only with the help of a game console or with a PC connection, now KIVI is changing the rules. Cloud gaming on your TV is a new reality where you don't need to buy multiple devices just to run a game on the big screen. All you need is a TV, Internet with a speed of at least 15 Mbit/s, KIVI MEDIA and a joystick.
In cooperation with the Boosteroid cloud gaming service, KIVI introduced the "Games" section. Today, Boosteroid is one of the top three providers of cloud gaming in Europe. Boosteroid technology allows you to run demanding modern computer games just on the TV. The game is launched on Boosteroid's powerful servers, and the gameplay is transmitted via the Internet directly to the screen of the user, who controls the game from his device, for example, with a joystick. With a good Internet connection, it is impossible to feel the difference between the game on Boosteroid and on a powerful home computer.
In the section "Games" in KIVI MEDIA integrated 3 free for the user. A library of approximately 200 games will be available after going directly to the Boosteroid platform from your TV screen. Among them are both free-to-user and paid games that must be purchased separately through the digital game distribution platform before launching on the Boosteroid platform.
Users can use their existing game accounts - there is no need to re-create them or buy games again. Free games require an account on the relevant platform. For example, in order to play the free game Fortnite, you need an EGS Epic Games Store account.
For comfortable gaming, the connection speed should be at least 15 Mbit/s, preferably connect the TV to the Internet via a cable or Wi-Fi 5 GHz. Any Bluetooth joystick is suitable for the game, for example, from PlayStation, Xbox, etc.
In addition to cloud gaming, free Android games for the whole family are integrated into the "Games" section: Air Console, Bomb Squad, Badland. Control is possible with the help of Bluetooth joysticks, a remote control and smartphones - it depends on the selected game. You can even play with a whole company. Hundreds of free games are also available in the Play Market application store.

Special discounts, promotional codes, promotions on the most popular goods and services from leading companies — everything is collected in one section. The user will be able to easily read the QR code from the TV and make profitable purchases.

Application release
KIVI MEDIA is scheduled for release on October 1, 2021. The application will be constantly updated taking into account the requests of Ukrainians. Part of the service will be free, as KIVI follows the "Turn on and watch" strategy, according to which the user receives the content immediately.
In addition to the new line, KIVI MEDIA will be automatically installed and/or updated on all KIVI smart TVs on the Google Android TV operating system by the end of 2021.
