Huawei is working on a foldable smartphone specifically for women

Over the past few years, there has been a rapid development of the foldable smartphone market. Most of the initial hurdles faced by manufacturers of these luxury smartphones have already been overcome.

However, there is still a lot of work ahead to bring them to perfection. Leading manufacturers such as Samsung, Huawei and Motorola continue to make incredible efforts in the foldable smartphone market, and many models have already been introduced.

According to popular Weibo leaker @DCS, Huawei is currently working on a new sophisticated flagship smartphone. In addition, his report claims that the device is targeted specifically at women. It uses a "vertical fold up and down" scheme, more like a flip phone. But the source of the leak is not sure about the timing when this device will officially hit the market.

According to previous reports, the Chinese manufacturer will release the Huawei Mate V at the end of this year. The Mate V has a vertical inward folding design as well as up and down folding. The engineering model of the Mate V shows that it uses the Kirin 9000 SoC. It looks like the device discussed by @DCS is the same as the Mate V.

Huawei's latest foldable smartphone is the Mate X2

In February of this year, Huawei released the flagship folding smartphone of the new generation — Huawei Mate X2. In terms of design, the Huawei Mate X2 is a pioneer of the center of gravity design. At the same time, the new phone uses an industry-unique dual-rotation hinge.

This smartphone has an internal and external dual-screen design that supports a high refresh rate of 90Hz. The internal display is an 8-inch screen with an ultra-high resolution of 2480 × 2200. However, the external screen size is 6,45 inches with a resolution of 2700 × 1160. The external display also supports a 240Hz touchscreen sampling rate.

As for the base configuration, the Huawei Mate X2 uses the Kirin 9000 5G SoC. This is the last flagship processor from the company before the US ban on Huawei. Under the hood, this foldable smartphone has a built-in large-capacity 4500mAh battery that supports Huawei's 55W super fast charging.

On the camera front, the Huawei Mate X2 comes with four Leica rear cameras. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera, along with an 8-megapixel periscope, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens.

At this time, there are no specific parameters of the new complex Huawei smartphone. Also, it remains to be seen if it supports 5G.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
