First, about what I liked. First of all, I want to explain that I am expressing only my impression of the smartphone. Just my personal, but as a knowledgeable, sometimes even capricious and demanding user, who has already developed a certain list of requirements for devices over many years of using smartphones of various systems and brands.
Therefore, every time I pick up a new smartphone, the first thing I do is try to find in it those functions that are convenient for me and have made my life easier for many years. Well, if I suddenly find something new, also cool and convenient, then "it's just a kind of holiday" ©.
And when, by the way, I say that I don't like something, or rather, "something surprised me" - this should always be taken as a wish to the manufacturer. Who will definitely think after reading my report. In addition, all my comments always apply only to the software, which means that they may well be eliminated / implemented by the manufacturer at the firmware level.
If he wants it, of course. Because if, let's say, the smartphone lacks a front camera, and I write that it would be nice to have it there, the manufacturer is unlikely to put it there. And if it is installed, it will be a completely different model
So, about what I liked. I really liked the silicone cover in the set. It is quite soft, on the back side it has a high border around the camera module, which protects it from scratches. And on the side of the screen, it also has a high side that even bends inward and goes onto the screen. But at the same time, apparently, due to a successful and well-thought-out form, it does not interfere with gesture control at all.
Which ones, I don't know how, but personally I always do from the very edge of the screen. Therefore, I often raise the edge of the protective glass in my phones. Which, of course, is "a lot of De", but not to the same extent. Therefore, it begins to crumble over time. The case has cool protrusions in front of the volume rocker and power button, and even, surprisingly, a plug for the USB-Type C connector, designed to protect it from something.
The idea, of course, is not bad, but its execution causes me mixed feelings. The thing is that the plug is connected to the cover itself with some kind of whip. And when there is something in the connector that should be in it at that moment, for example, a charging cable, the plug itself turns out to be tightly pressed to the plastic connector of the cable on its right side.
I hope you have already guessed what I'm getting at. But just in case, I will finish my opinion. I don't know exactly how you pull the cable out of your smartphone, maybe you just pull it by the wire, but personally I always grab this same connector, and in this case also with the plug, because it's on that side , into which I rest with the middle of my index finger. Despite the fact that my thumb is on top.
And when I try to pull out the cable, every time I feel that I am pulling the plug along with it. Because it is pressed to this connector. One can only guess when she will get tired of enduring such abuse, cease to be a part of the cover, tear the umbilical cord that connects her to the cover and start her own independent life.
I liked the Funtouch OS version 11.1 skin. You can customize a lot of interesting things there. True, I did not find anything. Maybe I wasn't looking well, or maybe it's not there, and that's sad. But more on that later, not here.
I liked the work of the on-screen fingerprint sensor. And set up well, and works quite quickly. Of course, I liked the selfie camera. More precisely, I didn't like it at first, because I didn't know about the double frontal flash. Because they, these two flashes, cannot be seen until they are on, even if you know about them. But when you turn them on...
You can see a lot of details in the photo, especially if you zoom in well. This is me about the result of a selfie with backlight. A lot of details, even too much. Well, maybe it will please someone, in any case, it characterizes the front camera of this smartphone from the best side.
I also liked that during the first setup, after connecting to my account, Google gave me a list of all smartphones that I have recently dealt with. Without thinking, I selected my own, and the device happily installed all, all of my apps for me on its own, while also dragging the text size and even the text on my own phone's lock screen here.
And now briefly about what surprised me. I repeat again, all these "surprises" can easily be eliminated by the manufacturer in the next firmware.
So, I was surprised by the screen. Of course, the screen itself is good, bright and has settings, but if you open something white on it, like a menu, and start turning it in relation to your view along any axes, some colorful overflows immediately appear. Of course, not as bright as the oil film on an autumn puddle, but still.
I observed something similar already on a smartphone of another, related brand, which I tested not so long ago. But there it was just green, and here some greenish-pink overflows. I understand that these are the tricks in the AMOLED matrix.
I was surprised that I couldn't find a data rate display in the settings. Maybe it's there, and I just didn't look very well, but believe me, I tried. I can explain how useful this thing is. My mobile internet works very poorly in the country... PS: Even later, after writing, after talking with vivo, I found it, or rather made sure that it was there. Therefore, just in case, I will tell you what it is good for, and why it is needed:
When these numbers (I'm talking about the speed) are visible at the top of the screen, and they are usually placed there next to the marks of mobile networks and battery charge, you can immediately understand whether something is moving in terms of data transfer and whether it makes sense to wait until the right window finally opens. Or you should look for a better place where the reception speed is higher.
I was surprised that you can't get into the settings from the curtain. You can be more precise, but only when you stretch it harder, to the second size. Only then does the treasured gear appear in the lower right corner. Why it could not be shown when the curtain is lowered for the first time - as is done with all other brands - is beyond me.
I was surprised that the front flashes are not involved in any way except for shooting. Let's assume that in ... one of them is used as an indicator of the charging process. It seems like a small thing, but it inspires.
I was surprised that there is no such cool thing as in ..., which reduces energy consumption at night according to the schedule. Well, what is this? If the "do not disturb" mode is turned on anyway, then why should the smartphone sweat and strain in vain?
I was surprised that the protective film pasted from the factory, which is a big plus, thanks to its electrification, happily collects various nastiness such as dust, crumbs and hairs. Which practically makes it impossible to take a good photo of the phone itself.

The box is beautiful, it resembles corduroy, although it may be called something else now. Inside is a charger, the smartphone itself, a charging cable, a hardened one that gives hope, an adapter for headphones, from USB Type-C to Mini-Jack 3.5 mm, because we do not have a 3,5 mm connector in stock, and the mentioned one above is a beautiful silicone cover. And, well, the headphones themselves, or rather, the headset.
About the headset, in addition to the fact that it exists and works (and this will be enough for most headsets), I will say that to my inexperienced ear it even sounds. Of course, from one look at its form factor, one could already draw such a conclusion, because a similar design is used when it is necessary to squeeze in membranes of a large diameter, which is always a plus for headphones.
It's like the joke about if something looks like ... and smells like ..., then most likely it is. Well, here the rule works, but in a good way. In the sense that the headset looks like it can do something, and it actually can, based on how it looks.
Why did I draw your attention to this? And because I had already met headsets that looked similar to this one, but it was worth taking them in hand, how the impression got worse, and when I tried to listen to something through them, it disappeared altogether.
The charging unit is large, charges quickly to some value, everything is as it should be. Well, I already mentioned the protective film above, which collects everything possible. But protects. But it's better to have glass or no glass at all, because in life you can't remove everything that is electrostatically stuck to the screen from the screen.
Design
In terms of design, it first reminded me of its counterpart, a related brand, which was previously reviewed. Well, except that here the camera is in the drop, and there it is in the hole on the left, and there is a volume rocker with a power button here on one side, and there on different sides.
I even managed to take a picture of them together, however, in a hurry, not very high-quality, and for a completely different purpose. But you can judge the similarities yourself.
And yes, of course, our hero is quite good-looking. The back side is made of frosted glass, but unfortunately it collects prints, so I had to rub it for a long time so that it was not visible in the photo.
On the right side, on the end, there is a volume rocker and a power button. The button is grooved, which is probably a good thing.
The left side is completely blank (hopefully, take my word for it, no photo). Only the second microphone is on the top edge.
But everything else is on the bottom, including the tray for SIM cards. And the tray is right next to the main microphone. I don't think it's worth telling how interesting such a neighborhood is. Although not, I will tell you anyway. By the fact that sooner or later the device for removing the tray will be pushed right into the microphone hole. Although there are already many topics on forums, where smart people swear that the microphones are so cleverly placed there that if you poke the hole as much as you like, you still won't get it. But I would not advise.
So, in the center we have the USB-Type C connector, on the left are these two dangerous neighbors - the microphone and the tray, and on the right - the speaker grill. On the back side, which is matte and beautiful, we have an equally beautiful camera block and a silver "vivo" logo.
Hardware part
I usually say little about hardware stuffing. On the one hand, at the very beginning of the review there are always characteristics that do not make sense to recount, and on the other hand, I always delight the reader's eye with a variety of screenshots from various testing programs. The smartphone has a branded shell, which, to my delight, also decided to update. Why for joy? I don't know, I just really like it when programs are updated.

Camera
About the camera, I also had time to write above, but the truth is, only about selfies. The camera is good, it does what it can, the software tries to extract everything, especially indoors, but, in my opinion, it happens like this - when the software understands what you are shooting, it happily plays along with you in this.
But when he doesn't understand - unfortunately. Well, the bright sun is not good either. That is, "the grass turns green, the sun shines" does not work at the same time. And the autumn of gold, in my opinion, is already closer to the sad season. That is, let's call it "natural colors", although sometimes you want something brighter and more cheerful.
But, I want to note that there is a professional mode, where you, as a real photographer, can set all the parameters, and you may get very good pictures. I will also say about the night mode - it sets the shutter speed as it wants, at night for at least three seconds, so don't shake your hands too much.

As for the battery, traditionally, no one can say better than the tests. And above, I already said that the charger is large and powerful, and the charging cable does not look flimsy at all.

Definitely worth it. Is it worth the money? This is the most difficult question.
