The Apple iPhone 13 mini could be the last mini iPhone, as the tech giant has no plans to release the iPhone 14 mini in 2022. A well-known informant believes that Apple will get rid of the mini version of the iPhone next year.
This could be the result of the unsatisfactory result of last year's iPhone 12 mini sales. Additionally, the Cupertino-based company is reportedly preparing to launch its new iPhone series without the iPhone 14 mini model. Mini models were presented last year in the form of iPhone 12 mini.
This year, Apple released another miniature variant called the iPhone 13 mini. Unfortunately, these mini models failed to gain popularity among the huge number of iPhone fans. As a result, Apple may be planning to abandon the entire mini line.
As a reminder, the iPhone 12 mini was the least accepted model in the entire mini line. iPhone 12 mini sales accounted for a measly 6 percent of total 2020 iPhone sales.
iPhone 13 Mini may be the last mini model
Renowned prognosticator John Prosser shared some important information on his Twitter account earlier this week about the iPhone miniseries smartphones. According to Prosser, Apple plans to abandon mini-variants next year.
This information coincides with a report from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo earlier this year. Kuo predicted that the 2022 iPhone series will not include a mini model. According to a report by IndiaToday, Coe attributed the decision to disappointing sales of last year's iPhone 12 mini.

In his tweet, Prosser said that the iPhone 13 mini will be the last chance for consumers to get their hands on the mini model. In addition, Prosser was asked if he was confident about Apple's plans since the launch of the mini model in 2020. Prosser responded that he is confident in the development, although next year's iPhone series may not include a mini model, Kuo says that the 2022 iPhone family will include four new models.
The iPhone 14 series will be released next year
According to Kuo, two of the upcoming iPhone 14 series models will be high-end models. The other two models are likely to be budget options in this series.
