Earlier, the source claimed that Samsung intends to introduce One UI 4.0 at the beginning of the summer period. This is the next version of the manufacturer's user interface, which will apparently be based on Android 12, the latest version of the OS from Google.
The information came to us from an IceUniverse insider known for his revelations. In addition, the source Max Weinbach announced at the end of June 2021 that Samsung teams are already working on the Android 12 update for One UI. In other words, everything indicated that the presentation of the beta version of OneUI is inevitable.
Finally, the South Korean firm did not announce an official release date, but did clarify that the beta version will indeed be released in September 2021. In particular, the manufacturer confirmed the opening of the beta version for users from South Korea on Thursday, September 9, 2021. But apparently something prompted Samsung to change its plans.
The launch of Samsung One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 has been delayed
According to Android Authority, a representative of the Seoul firm confirmed that the launch of the One UI 4.0 public beta will not take place today. The said official did not give details about the reasons for the delay; nor did he say when the beta testing program would open. He simply said that the Samsung teams are still working on it.
At first glance, this shouldn't be a long delay. Most likely, the developers noticed a few small bugs in the first beta and decided to delay the rollout to fix them. According to the same official, this first phase of beta testing was supposed to last until October 29, 2021.
But after this delay, it is safe to say that this date will be moved by a few days. In other words, the stable version of One UI 4.0 on Android 12 could appear on Galaxy S21 devices by mid-November 2021.
