OPPO and Japanese architect Kengo Kuma created an installation for Milan Design Week - 2021

The world's leading manufacturer and innovator in the field of intelligent devices, OPPO, in collaboration with the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, created the composition "Bamboo (竹) Ring".

"Bamboo (竹) Ring": a symphony of lightness and form from OPPO and Kengo Kuma

The multi-sensory installation follows the theme "Creative Connections", which combines architecture and music, design innovation, technological mastery and user experience to create a sense of time and space. The piece will be on display in Milan's Cortil de Bagni courtyard during Milan Design Week until September 19.

This project is part of Kengo Kuma and OPPO's Bamboo (竹) Ring exhibition, which debuted at London Design Festival 2019. The exhibit explored the harmonious relationship between humans and nature, showcasing lightweight yet strong structures made from bamboo and carbon fiber. This year, OPPO's experimental installation uses innovative technology to engage all the senses with orchestral scores composed by Japanese violinist Midori Komati.

An installation made of bamboo and carbon fiber rings is transformed into a musical instrument with the help of OPPO's innovative technology. New haptic motors and MEMS speaker arrays create exciting and diverse sound.

After Milan Design Week, OPPO will donate the Bamboo (竹) Ring to Arte Sella Park in Trentino, Italy, home to the Museum of Contemporary Art with open-air exhibits.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
