On the eve of September, we expect Google to roll out the stable version of Android 12. After several months of beta testing with Pixel users, the search giant is finalizing the setup for the Android 12 rollout.
In fact, the latest Android 12 4.1 beta already comes with some final tweaks as the company pushed the final API for the build. We expect Android OEMs to start revealing their A12 release plans soon after the official release.
Companies like Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme are all announcing their respective skins based on Android 12. Meanwhile, Xiaomi should start rolling out Android 12 to some smartphones running MIUI 12.5. An unofficial list of Xiaomi devices receiving the Android 12 update has been released today.
The unofficial list of Xiaomi smartphones eligible for the Android 12 update is quite plausible. However, some supported devices may not be available here.
So if your device isn't here, don't lose hope. The list is sourced from Xiaomiui and includes devices manufactured by Xiaomi as well as devices manufactured under the Redmi, POCO and Black Shark brands.
The source claims that the list was compiled based on information from internal sources. However, it still has the status of "unofficial". Some devices are already in internal beta testing or closed beta testing of Android 12, so they may receive the update before the end of the year.

Most smartphones of 2019 "leave the party"
The list of devices that won't get Android 12 is mostly 2019 smartphones. However, there are several "surprises" in this list. For example, we have the Redmi Note 9 with Helio G85 launched in global markets.
The device launched with Android 10 and it looks like it will only get one major update to Android 11. The same goes for the Redmi 9 series of smartphones, which includes devices like the Redmi 9, 9A, 9 Prime and 9C.
The POCO C3 is based on the Redmi 9C, while the POCO M2 is essentially a rebranded Redmi 9 / Redmi 9 Prime. Because the base devices are not getting the update, the rebranded devices won't be getting it either.
The lack of Android 12 also means the end of the line of successful smartphones like the Redmi Note 8. The mid-range king launched with Android 9 Pie and it took a whole year to get Android 10. It will soon get the Android 11 update and it could be the end of the line . The legendary Redmi K20 series will also stay away from Android 12.
It is worth noting that these devices may receive MIUI 13 after launch. Xiaomi has a tendency to update MIUI even with older stock Android versions. Of course, some features will be limited.
Disclaimer: We encourage you to treat this list as hearsay. Although this seems like the truth, we need to wait for the official list from Xiaomi.
