The Huawei Consumer Business Group unit in Ukraine presented the MateView GT monitor. This is Huawei's first gaming monitor with an ultra-wide curved display, a refresh rate of 165 Hz and an innovative built-in soundbar.
Curved ultra-wide display for immersive viewing
Huawei MateView GT has a curved 21:9 screen with a diagonal of 34 inches and a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels. It is designed to achieve maximum gaming performance and get the effect of full immersion during any computer entertainment.
Huawei MateView GT is characterized by high color accuracy, as it works in the DCI-P3 color gamut. Each screen goes through a professional calibration procedure to achieve a color rendering deviation of ΔE <2. In addition, MateView GT supports a peak brightness of 350 nits, a contrast ratio of 4000:1 and HDR 10 technology for a more realistic display of visual content.
Smooth display of content thanks to a high refresh rate
Thanks to the support of the frequency of 165 Hz, MateView GT not only ensures the smoothness and purity of the picture, but also reduces the harmful effect on vision. For gaming scenarios, the monitor offers the Dark Field Control function. By automatically adjusting the brightness of the screen during dark and brightly lit scenes, it helps players to quickly identify the opponent. In addition, the Crosshairs function, specially designed for FPS-dependent games, is built into the monitor. Even when the in-game scope is disabled, the MateView GT will provide players with a reticle for easy aiming.
Huawei MateView GT provides high performance during other entertainment as well. A five-position joystick is located under its lower frame. A carefully designed on-screen menu (OSD) makes interaction with the monitor easier. MateView GT is TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certified and supports DC dimming mode, which means it effectively suppresses the blue component of illumination and flickering, which can be harmful to vision.
Built-in soundbar
The Huawei MateView GT soundbar is both a speaker system and a monitor support. Two built-in speakers support Stereo 2.0 sound format for surround sound. The RGB-backlit touch panel not only offers customizable lighting effects, but also allows you to adjust the volume with one touch.
MateView GT capabilities expand the set of interfaces: 3,5 mm jack for headphones and microphone, two HDMI 2.0 display ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a USB Type-C port for charging and a full-function USB Type-C port, which is unique for this class of devices . This set of ports covers most of the user's needs for connecting external devices.
Thanks to the intelligent two-microphone system built into the Huawei MateView GT, the voice can be heard at a distance of up to 4 meters and in a 360° range.
Information about the start of sales and the price of Huawei MateView GT in Ukraine will be announced in October 2021.
