The Mi 360° Home Security Camera and the Xiaomi Home app have received Kitemark™ certifications from the British Standards Institute

Global technology leader Xiaomi announced today that the Mi 360° Home Security Camera has received Kitemark™ certification for smart home devices from the British Standard Institution (BSI), a business improvement and standards company. In addition, the Xiaomi Home app has received the Kitemark™ certificate for safe digital applications.

Receiving Kitemark™ certification means that Xiaomi products comply with the best security practices, including the EN303645 standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). This is another important step by Xiaomi to protect the information security and privacy of its consumers.

The Kitemark™ is a registered product and service quality certification mark owned and managed by the British Standards Institution (BSI). BSI provides technical testing and security auditing of Internet of Things (IoT) systems based on the ETSI/EN303645 standard, providing consumers with a quick and easy way to identify secure and trustworthy IoT devices.

Xiaomi has created the world's leading AIoT (AI + IoT) platform, to which more than 351 million smart devices and 49 million users are connected*. The security and privacy of user data is Xiaomi's top priority, so the company has created a comprehensive infrastructure in the field of management and technology to ensure the protection of data security. Xiaomi's Mi AIoT platform has received BSI certification under two standards: ISO/IEC 2700 Information Security Management Standard and ISO/IEC 27701 Privacy Information Management System. Xiaomi has also published reports Cyber Security Baseline for Consumer Internet of Things Devices and Xiaomi IoT Privacy White Paper (Xiaomi report on privacy in IoT)**, which detail the company's security and privacy policies and practices.

* As of March 31, 2021, excluding smartphones and laptops.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
