Chuwi recently officially announced that a new laptop is on its way to launch, the LarkBook X. The laptop is expected to launch in mid-August.
It will feature a 14-inch full touchscreen display with a 16:10 aspect ratio with an all-metal lightweight design. It will also feature the new low-power 5100 Intel N2021 processor along with Windows 11 system upgrade support.
Today we learn that the LarkBook X will feature a 14-inch 16:10 touchscreen with 2K resolution. It will also bring a high color gamut of 100% sRGB so that it can also be used in productivity scenarios.
With a 16:10 display, it is 11% higher than the traditional 16:9 aspect ratio, which is beneficial for increasing office productivity and thus improving its usability in the office. In addition, the 14-inch 16:10 screen is a complete adaptation that will bring a flawless entertainment experience with streaming video, games and entertainment scenes.
As we mentioned earlier, there's also the big plus of supporting the upcoming update to Windows 11, an OS that's expected to bring a more advanced and better touchscreen experience.
CHUWI LarkBook X is designed to be lightweight and fashionable. It has an aluminum-magnesium alloy body that is only 10 mm thick and weighs only 1,4 kg, making it ultra-light and portable. The entire device can be opened and closed 180 degrees, and it has its own full-size backlit keyboard and large trackpad.
Finally, the LarkBook X will be powered by Intel's new 10 2021nm processor. Using Intel's 10nm process, the latest Celeron N5100 has only an ultra-low power consumption TDP of 6W and can run without a fan.
The processor is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of solid-state storage and dual-channel memory expansion support. LarkBook X can easily meet the general needs of daily office use, audiovisual entertainment, 4K video and more.
The CHUWI LarkBook X is expected to be officially released in mid-August and will cost less than $500. More detailed information will be available at CHUWI official website.
