The latest update of the Huawei mobile services ecosystem affected the main applications and services, including Huawei Assistant, Huawei Petal Search and others
Huawei, the world's leading technology giant, presents the latest software updates of Huawei mobile services for various models of its smartphones.
In the coming months, a number of improved applications and services will become available to Ukrainian owners of Huawei smartphones with EMUI 8.0 version and higher. Designed with user privacy in mind, they also have additional useful features. The updated and visually changed Huawei Assistant guarantees improved access to any file on the smartphone. The Petal Search search service, which works on the basis of artificial intelligence, provides advanced search capabilities. And the Huawei browser guarantees safe and high-speed work on the Internet.

The main updates will apply to the following Huawei applications and services:
- Assistant. Huawei Assistant is not only getting a new look. It provides up-to-date information and services in real-time, providing instant access to local news, weather forecast, transport schedule, stock market results, sports results with the help of leading artificial intelligence technologies. From now on, all the necessary information is available to the user in one place after a simple swipe to the right on the main screen. AI-powered search makes it easy to search your saved data (from email, contacts, calendar, etc.), online data (from your default browser), and news feed. The update will provide an opportunity to personalize the interface, which will improve the user experience.
- Browser. Huawei Browser provides more features for users, including private browsing and pop-up blocking, to ensure a safe, private and high-speed experience. It also offers instant access to the latest news published by selected local, regional and international media while browsing the news feed, which now includes several new channels such as video, podcasts and entertainment. A more accurate AI algorithm provides smart recommendations, helping users minimize the time they spend searching for the information they need.
- Game Center. The Game Center gaming platform allows users of smartphones from Huawei and other brands to easily and conveniently find their favorite games, play them and share progress by taking screenshots or screen recordings. Non-interference mode is also available to users, which provides that gamers can interrupt the gameplay during an incoming call, which will be notified by a pop-up window. In addition, exclusive offers are available to members of the gaming platform — prizes, certificates and other rewards for game achievements.
- PetalSearch. The optimized search engine offers a number of services in more than 20 areas. In particular, news, applications, local services, travel offers, shopping. The program provides advanced capabilities based on artificial intelligence, which provides more relevant image search results. Voice search works for almost all countries and major languages.
