yesterday we saw the apparition new Sony Xperia Ace 2. Today the same model was found on Google Play. But its configuration may disappoint you a little.
The Sony Xperia Ace 2 will come with a MediaTek Helio P35 processor. It just means it doesn't support 5G. However, it will have 4GB of memory and the screen resolution should be 720 x 1496. To be honest, we hardly believe this list of specifications, as the original model came with a 5-inch Full HD+ display.
The smartphone will have a rear longitudinal dual camera and will have no protrusions. The fingerprint recognition module is placed on the side. And the company still retains the 3,5mm headphone jack on top. The smartphone comes with Android 11 OS.
However, we think that many of the features of the upcoming Sony Xperia Ace 2 will be identical to the original model. In this sense, it is quite reasonable to mention here the key characteristics of the first generation model.
Technical characteristics of Sony Xperia Ace
The Sony Xperia Ace belongs to the category of compact smartphones. Waterproof and dustproof with IPX5 and IPX8 ratings respectively. It has handy features like a 3,5mm headphone jack, front-firing stereo speakers, USB Type-C interface and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In this sense, our main character will not see any changes.
As mentioned, up front, the Ace features a 5-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and large Sony bezels. But inside, unlike the second-generation model, it will have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor combined with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, expandable up to 512 GB using a microSD card.
The rear camera has a resolution of 12 MP and an aperture of f / 1,8. It supports AI scene detection. On the opposite side, we have an 8-megapixel module. The device boots Android 9.0 and is powered by a 2700mAh battery.
It costs JPY 48 / $600 / €444 on NTT Docomo. But it was designed mainly for the domestic market. In this sense, Sony Xperia Ace 396 will also be presented in other markets.
