Oppo Reno6 with 65W fast charging is now on TENAA

Oppo introduced its Oppo Reno5 series almost half a year ago and expanded it with a set of variants. Now the company is preparing to finally introduce its Oppo Reno6 family. So far, the company is preparing three new devices – Oppo Reno6, Reno6 Pro and Reno6 Pro+. Details about the Pro variants surfaced last week on TENAA. Now the younger Oppo Reno6 appeared in the same list. As usual, we get some specifications of the device along with the model number PEQM00.

According to the TENAA certification, the Oppo Reno6 flaunts a 6,43-inch display. Thanks to the "premium class" of the Oppo Reno6 series devices, it is safe to assume that even the younger one has an AMOLED screen. This panel is likely to come with FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution. In addition, we expect a left-aligned hole for the selfie camera and at least a 90Hz refresh rate. Reno6 will get its strength from a 4200 mAh battery, which is based on dual technology.

The Oppo Reno6 comes with a 6,43-inch OLED display and 65W charging

Oppo sticks with this dual-cell technology to ensure that the battery can handle the stress that comes with its 65W fast charging technology. We assume the device will ship with Android 11 based on ColorOS 11.1 out of the box. Oppo may even introduce a new optional ColorOS 11.2 update with these new devices as they are important mid-year releases. Oppo Reno6 dimensions are 158,8 x 72,1 x 7,59 mm. This is slightly smaller than the current Oppo Reno5 5G, which has the same 6,43-inch OLED screen.

Unfortunately, at this time, little is known about the internal composition of the Oppo Reno6. We believe the TENAA certification list will be updated in the coming days with more information and possibly images. For now, we're particularly curious about which chipset powers this new mid-range smartphone. The Oppo Reno6 Pro will have the MediaTek Dimensity 1200, while the Reno6 Pro Plus will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870. The base smartphone is likely to stick with the middleman option. At its best, it comes with either the Dimensity 1100 or the Snapdragon 780G. However, other options in the mid-range 5G category are not being ruled out. The Oppo Reeno5 5G comes with the Snapdragon 765G and we hope Oppo doesn't introduce this chipset for the third time in a row.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
