According to a recent report, subscription service Sony PlayStation Plus Video Pass appeared on the official website of Sony Poland. The initial report claims that the service will be available within a year. The service will begin on April 22, 2021, end on April 22, 2022, and will last for one year. However, further information update shows that this service is only being tested.
Nick Maguire, vice president of global services for Sony Interactive Entertainment, confirmed that the PlayStation Plus Video Pass streaming service is being tested in Poland. The service is for PS+ members and users can use PS4 and PS5 consoles to use it to watch movies and TV shows.
However, the official did not provide a description of the service, so there is no information regarding the specific content. However, VGC predicts that the service will give PS+ members more audiovisual content.
Maguire said:
"Together with Sony Pictures Entertainment, we are launching a 12-month bonus for the PS Plus service, which is available in Poland, called PlayStation Plus Video Pass. It's a streaming app that PS Plus owners can download to their PS4 and PS5 consoles from the PS Store, accessing high-quality video as part of their existing PS Plus app.”
