The Huawei P50 prototype shows off a completely new camera design

The Chinese manufacturing giant, Huawei, is not giving up on smartphones just yet. After the US ban, the general idea is that Huawei's smartphone business won't survive another year. However, the company's smartphone business has been out of the US for over two years. Today, Huawei is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship series, the Huawei P50 series.

A new prototype image from GMSArena shows off the latest image of the Huawei P50 series. Several renders of the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro have surfaced over the past few months. These images show that the series will use two large camera lenses on the back.

Another notable missing image is the volume rocker. We remind you that the Huawei Mate 30 does not come with a volume control. With all that, the Huawei P40 40 series has once again introduced this feature. Will Huawei remove this feature in the P50 series? That would be too inconsistent on Huawei's part, and it's unlikely that the company will go back and forth like this.

The Huawei P50 series will arrive with HarmonyOS 2.0

For now, the most likely launch date for the Huawei P50 series is somewhere in June. The company is expected to launch this smartphone with HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box. At this time, HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta 3.0 has already been released for developers. Huawei flagship smartphones such as Huawei Mate 40 and Huawei P40 can install this update. Indeed, a recent screenshot shows the HarmonyOS 2.0 Beta 3.0 UI on the Honor 9X.

This 3.0 beta is still an internal beta for developers and special access users. However, the company will publish the first public beta version soon enough. This will happen, of course, before the launch of the Huawei P50 series in June.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
