Realme 8 Pro successfully passed the durability test

Recently, the Realme brand presented to the public the leader of its line of mid-range devices - Realme 8 Pro. The focus is on the 108-megapixel camera, powerful fast charging, Realme UI 2.0 and design. The latter interests the famous Youtuber JerryRigEverything, and not in the context of visual perception, but from the point of view of practicality. Realme brought him three variants of the Realme 8 Pro at once, and he undertook to conduct his tests on the blue version. Then he discovered that the smartphone is completely made of plastic (both the back and the frame). It also has the longest SIM card tray a Youtuber has ever seen.

Despite the materials with a bad reputation, the Realme 8 Pro performed well in the tests. This also applies to the bend test, during which Zack heard a crack but saw no external damage, leaving the intrigue for the second stage of the test - disassembly. We remind you that in a similar test ASUS ROG Phone 5 made of metal and glass did not pass the test, so plastic is definitely not a verdict.

Realme 8 Pro

Earlier this month, Realme presented a new generation of mid-range smartphones led by the Realme 8 Pro model. The manufacturer calls the 108-megapixel four-camera camera the main advantage of the new device – it is the first product of the brand with such a high-resolution sensor. According to the idea, this will help achieve outstanding performance both during daytime shooting and when working in low-light conditions. The camera consists of 8 MP and a pair of 2 MP sensors. The second feature of the Realme 8 Pro is a 6,4-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a fingerprint scanner hidden under the display.

Another outstanding feature of the smartphone is the 50 W Super Dart Charge; which can charge the 4500 mAh battery from 0 to 100% in a modest 47 minutes; and just 3 minutes of charging is enough for 4 hours of calls or 11 hours of listening to music. The device is based on the Snapdragon 720G chipset, familiar to owners of the previous Realme 6 Pro and Realme 7 Pro.

Other features include an NFC module, a 3,5mm headphone jack on the bottom edge; and a thin (8,1 mm) and light (176 g) body. In addition, the camera module and the slogan "Dare to jump" on the back cover are covered with fluorescent paint; which is designed to emphasize the style of the device by glowing in the dark.

The buyer gets Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0; and one of two possible colors: blue or black. There are also two memory configurations of 6/128 and 8/128 GB, and the amount of memory can be expanded using a microSD card.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
