The Android tablet market is not as competitive as smartphones. However, some companies such as Samsung, Huawei and Lenovo are reaping positive results with their large-format device offerings. The Korean firm releases a range of tablets every year, and 2021 will be no exception. Samsung is preparing the ground for the release of its Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and Galaxy Tab S7 Lite. Evidence of these upcoming tables has already been spotted in several certifications and a benchmark listing a few weeks ago. We even saw the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite pass FCC, NBTC and Bluetooth SIG certification a couple of days ago. Now, in the latest development, the Galaxy Tab S7 + Lite has been spotted thanks to a new firmware test development that has revealed the Tab S7 + Lite in 4G and 5G variants.
The LTE-only variant is associated with the model number SM-T735N. Instead, the 5G version is listed in the firmware database with the model number SM-T736N. In terms of specifications, we don't have much information about either of these two devices. For this reason, you should take this newly released firmware information with a pinch or two of salt. It is still unclear whether this upcoming tablet will be released as the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite or the Tab S7 + Lite.
Earlier reports suggest that Samsung is working on a bunch of new tablets, which are reported to have model numbers like SM-T730, SM-T735, and SM-T736B / SM-T736N respectively. According to a report by SamMobile, these upcoming tablets could come as Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, Tab S8e and Tab S8e Plus or XL.
Guaranteed specifications of the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite / Tab S7 + Lite
