Huawei's smartphone business is on the brink of collapse due to the US ban. After the initial ban, Huawei was still doing well. In fact, while the ban was in effect, Huawei became the world's largest smartphone brand. However, the US went a step further by strengthening the ban. This time, Huawei cannot do business with non-American companies that use American technology. With this ban, Huawei's Kirin cannot do business with TSMC, which makes their chip. If there is no processor, then there is no smartphone.

Since then, Huawei has managed the inventory. As a result, its smartphone sales have been very low because it is not producing enough units. Now Huawei is trying to keep its place in the TOP-5 global smartphone manufacturers. The company has no choice but to use inferior chipsets made in China.

However, if the latest reports are true, then Huawei may just have a lifeline. According to a recent report, Huawei and Samsung can do business through SamMobile. Reports suggest that Samsung may just be Huawei's lifeline. Apparently, the two companies have agreed that Samsung will manufacture its latest 5nm flagship chip. This chip is the Huawei Kirin 9000L 5G processor and uses the 5n manufacturing process.

Speculations so far suggest that the Kirin 9000L is inferior to the Kirin 9000 and Kirin 9000E processors. This chip (Kirin 9000E) uses a large core clocked at 2,86 GHz. As for the Kirin 9000, its big core runs at 3,13 GHz. The GPU is Mali-G78. It has 24 cores in the Kirin 9000 and 22 cores in the Kirin 9000E processor.

Does Samsung use American technology in its production? Maybe so. Does Samsung have a 5nm manufacturing process that doesn't use US technology? Maybe not. So how can Samsung work on Huawei with the US ban? This is the most important question to which there is currently no answer. We cannot say whether Samsung has permission from the US to make chips for Huawei.

Samsung cannot anger the new US administration unnecessarily. Frankly, it is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the US ban on Huawei. We will have more information on the status of this report in the coming weeks. Keep a tab with us and we will update you with the latest information.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
