The Chinese manufacturer, Huawei, will hold a conference in May to launch a new product in the Huawei P50 series. Today, the first CAD set of the Huawei P50 Standard version appeared on the Internet. CAD images from @WHYLAB show a huge 'module' with four rear cameras at the back. It also features a punch-hole central display.
Huawei P50 will use a 6,3-inch flat screen and a central single front lens with perforation. The dimensions of this smartphone are 156,7 x 74 x 8,3 mm. If we consider the protrusion on the rear camera module, the thickness will be 10,6 mm. Thus, the body of this smartphone is larger than the Huawei P40, measuring 148,9 x 71,06 x 8,5 mm.
The design of the Huawei P50 is simpler than that of the Pro. It also features a glass back and a slightly arched metal frame with a more traditional and simple design. According to reports, the Huawei P50 is slightly thicker than the Huawei P50 Pro. The chin of this smartphone is also bigger.
So far, speculations suggest that the Huawei P50 Pro will use a 6,6-inch central display. This screen has slightly curved edges and a very narrow bezel and chin. It uses a glass back panel and a metal frame with flat top and bottom edges. The size of this device is 159 x 73 x 8,6mm (the thickness of the rear camera is 10,3mm if the rear camera is included). The device also uses an under-display fingerprint sensor, dual up and down speakers, and supports infrared remote control functions.
Previous reports show a prototype design of the Huawei P50 series. It is believed that the P50 series is already available for mass production. This series includes three models: the basic version, P50 Pro and P50 Pro +. Selling points include screen quality, a new ultra-sensitive rear camera system and new gaming features. Also, the Huawei P50 should come with Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 9000E chips. The other two higher-end models use Kirin 9000 chips.
Ever since Huawei was banned by the US government, the Chinese manufacturer has been struggling. In fact, Huawei is just trying to stay abreast of the latest industry developments. That's why it doesn't come out of smartphones yet. Huawei is trying to hold its own.
