The iPhone X exploded in the user's pocket, causing burns

According to 9to5mac, Robert De Rose of Melbourne, Australia has filed a lawsuit against Apple after his iPhone X exploded in his pocket. The user went to court because Apple did not respond to his complaint in any way.

Robert De Rose said he was sitting at his desk when he heard a hiss in his pocket and felt a pain in his leg.

"I heard a faint pop and then I felt dizzy and then I felt a sharp pain in my right leg, so I immediately jumped up and realized it was my phone," he told 7NEWS.

He pulled the iPhone X out of his pocket, which was just over a year old, to find black smoke coming out of it.

The thigh received second-degree burns. He contacted Apple several times about this, but never received a response.

De Rose turned to Carbone Lawyers, a law firm that helped file a lawsuit against Apple. The firm is also representing another Melbourne man who claims his Apple Watch exploded and burned his hand.

Apple later responded that the company takes consumer safety seriously and is investigating both claims.

Apple has finally defeated Samsung in the global smartphone market

Apple has overtaken Samsung to become the world's leading smartphone brand amid record sales of iPhone smartphones. The company showed a huge jump in the last quarter of last year, while Huawei's position weakened greatly.

According to Counterpoint Research, during the previous quarter, shipments of iPhone smartphones increased by 22%. This surge is due to the release of the iPhone 12 model line, which supports fifth-generation networks. Also, sales of previous models did not fall, demand for which is stable after the price reduction.
The company has shipped 90 million smartphones and has over 23% market share. Analysts note that Apple has strengthened its position in the premium smartphone segment in China. According to Apple CEO Tim Cook, two of the top three premium smartphones in China are from Apple.

The second place in the quarter belongs to Samsung, which received about 19% of the market. The third place went to Xiaomi, followed by Oppo and Vivo, which took the fourth and fifth places, respectively. Huawei dropped to 6th place.

If we take into account the results for the year, Samsung is in the lead, Apple is second, Huawei is third, followed by Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and Realme. The latter was the most graceful brand in the last year.

Counterpoint Research's data is broadly consistent with the estimates we've already published from another analyst firm, IDC.

I have always been interested in IT technologies. And since my previous many years of professional activity (which is design and pre-press preparation) is not possible without their help, it so happened that everything that was related to computers (for example, collecting and modernizing "hardware", as well as configuring software ) I always had to do it myself.

Well, with the advent of gadgets in our lives, the scope of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying anything new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for my time is usually that most of the time I really do get the best of what I can get within my budget.
