Xiaomi is not only a manufacturer of smartphones and home gadgets, but also an Internet of Things (IoT) company that, in particular, produces equipment. Something similar to what Google or Amazon do, but they can also have the same or higher profit margins than in phones.

As we say, the maximum margin of products that Xiaomi is trying to have is only 5%. This is due to company policy, not because they can only make money from it. They do this because their philosophy is to make technology accessible to everyone. That all people, regardless of their economic status, can use Xiaomi products.
