No Fay, President of ZTE Terminals Division and President of Nubia Technology Co., Ltd., announced today that the Tencent Red Magic Gaming Phone 6 will support 120W fast charging. Furthermore, this phone will come with a standard 120W Gallium Nitride charger and a 4500mAh dual-cell battery.
The latter will charge from 0% to 50% in 5 minutes.
In addition, the machine has an excellent heat dissipation system. The combination of heat dissipation + fast charging graphite + high dynamic electrolyte + high strength membrane and fully baked design can effectively control heat generation and safety issues.
The new Red Magic 6 gaming phone will provide two versions of the standard version and the Pro version. While it integrates classic 'X' elements, it undergoes massive changes compared to the previous generation. The rear camera module also uses the new “Tencent Game” logo.
A previous poster indicated that the Tencent Red Magic Gaming Phone 6 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 888 chip, complemented by 8GB of memory and Android 11 operating system. Before that, it appeared on GeekBench. The single-core score is 1004 points, and the multi-core score is 3306 points. The results are not bad and the final version should have improved.
In addition, yesterday the same head of Nubia said that the Red Magic Gaming Phone 6 will have four new technologies. From the poster, we can see that these four technologies are related to the screen, charging, touch control and fan.
The company has officially announced that the Tencent Red Magic Gaming Phone 6 will be released on March 4.
A collaboration between Tencent and Red Magic
Red Magic and Tencent have established many mobile game research centers. These positions will be staffed by members of both companies and will work on the development of new gaming technologies. This will lead to improvements in both hardware and software. The list of compatible games that offer the best specs for Red Magic 6 will only grow.
Interestingly, apart from Black Sharks, Asus ROG Phones have also had Tencent's SolarCore in the past. At this point, it is unclear whether Tencent and Red Magic have signed an exclusive deal, or whether the latter will be able to continue working with other game phone vendors.
