This whistleblower is trustworthy because he was the first to reveal what the iPhone X and Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will look like months before the announcement, and regularly publishes high-quality renders of upcoming smartphones using blueprints and leaks.
Judging by this image, when folded, the smartphone will resemble the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra with a main camera unit. In addition, it will get a stylus like this flagship smartphone from the manufacturer. Previously, stylus support was not available in one of the company's sophisticated smartphones.
The main flexible screen will receive very narrow frames around the perimeter, as well as a front camera built into the screen.
The presentation of Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected in the second half of this year.
IDC: the smartphone market has returned to growth
Experts from the analytical company IDC summarized the results of the fourth quarter of 2020 and the entire year in the smartphone market. According to the corresponding report, the smartphone market has returned to growth. Sales in the fourth quarter of 2020 amounted to 385,9 million units, which is 4,3% more than smartphones sold in the fourth quarter of 2019. At the same time, for the entire year of 2020, smartphones were sold 5,9% less than in 2019.
