XIAOMI responds to its appearance on the US blacklist

Earlier, the Reuters agency reported that the US government included 9 Chinese companies in the so-called "blacklist of the Chinese military". Interestingly, Xiaomi and COMAC made the list. Moreover, according to the relevant ban on investments, as the source proves, American investors must sell their shares of companies that are on the "black list" by November 11 of this year.

Later, Xiaomi Group published an announcement on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which stated: The company noted that on January 14, 2021 (US time), the US Department of Defense issued a press release stating that the company will be listed under Section 1237 of the state defense since 1999.

The Company has always maintained legal and compliant operations and has complied with applicable laws and regulations at its place of business. Services and products are used for civil or commercial purposes. The company confirms that it is not owned by a Chinese military company as defined by the US NDAA. We will take appropriate measures to protect the interests of the company and shareholders. The Company is studying the possible consequences of the incident in order to fully understand its impact on the Group. The company will publish additional announcements in due course.

I have always been interested in IT technologies, and since my professional activity, which is design and pre-press preparation, is impossible without their help, it so happened that everything that was connected with computers, for example, the assembly and modernization of "hardware", as well as the adjustment of software I always had to do it myself.
Well, with the appearance of gadgets in our lives, the sphere of my interests expanded to include them as well.

I like to study and analyze the capabilities of various devices, and for many years, before buying something new, I always study the capabilities of each potential model for a very long time and carefully, spend quite a long and painstaking work, read reviews, reviews and comparisons.

The reward for this is that most often I actually get the best that can be taken within the budget I originally planned.
