After launching the devices at Watch Live, ZTE is gearing up to launch a new 5G smartphone called the ZTE Blade V2021. With the new smartphone, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer expands the popular line of Blade devices. It seems that the company has had problems on the international stage since the US ban. In fact, ZTE released several products after the ban, but none of them made international headlines. While the brand may struggle abroad, ZTE still has an advantage in the domestic market. That's why the all-new Blade V2021 5G will be officially launched in its home country of China next month.
ZTE has listed the Blade V2021 5G smartphone on retailer JD.com. As expected, the list features some key features, specifications and images of the smartphone. According to the website, the smartphone will see an official release on December 2. In terms of specifications, the device will have a triple rear camera module with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture. The primary sensor is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear module also houses a dual-tone dual-LED flash. You'll also find a physical fingerprint sensor on the back.
The list does not mention the rest of the internals, such as the chipset, RAM, storage and more. This hardware aspect of the device remains unknown and it looks like it will be revealed right on the launch day. The website lists several software-oriented features, such as ZTE's own user interface, a double-click home button for SOS, and of course, access to some Chinese stores. The website also states that the FM Radio app is a key feature of the software that is a turn-off for many consumers. The device will come in at least three color options, which means the brand may add a few more in the future. As the name suggests, the Blade V2021 also supports 5G connectivity options.
At the same time, ZTE will officially reveal everything about the Blade V2021 5G smartphone on December 2 on the JD.com website. We expect the smartphone to be available for purchase or pre-booking on the same day.
